Why I am taking French

I am taking French because I really like the sound of the language. I like traveling, and one of my favorite places to go is Paris. I think since I go there a lot that it would be useful to learn the language. I am also taking it because it is more unique and interesting than Spanish is. I have a lot of French family and my mom took the language for 7 years. This makes me more interested in the language and my mom could help me with it since she can speak a lot of it. I am really enjoying my first year of French and looking forward to learning more!
